No, the rankings were not supposed to go out early.
Hi. You may have seen a Top Chef rankings go out this afternoon, even though the show airs tonight. That was not supposed to happen. Clever readers of this newsletter will already know that I’m not in the habit of sending out recaps of a show before it airs.
I thought I was scheduling it for tomorrow morning. I’m not entirely sure what happened, but it went out early. I changed the publish date on the post to make sure it was the correct, post-air-date one as soon as I saw what happened, but one fun thing about newsletters is that they cannot unsend an email.
Anyway, the web version of the post is scheduled for the correct time, but in the meantime, maybe don’t read that one. A new email should go out at the correct time. Fingers crossed. Thank you for your patience.
